I wish I had thoroughly checked my program courses beforehand. It would have been much easier if I was more prepared. In order to do well in some courses, it is beneficial to know some of the software beforehand.

I think one of my biggest concerns is money. It is pretty costly especially since you have to buy all your materials. You have hands on courses and digital one too. I had an Apple laptop and many 3D software works better on windows and so I had to get a new one. Many students were also troubled by this.
What was your favourite university experience?
I would say the community. Everyone is helpful and always there for you.
What was your least favourite university experience?
During the winter, commuting back and forth is very troublesome especially if you have a project on hand. Either you have to finish on time or carry large pieces, transporting on the subway is a disaster.
What is the hardest part about your program and what were the steps that you took to overcome any difficulties?
The hardest part of the program might be the pace for me. Everything moves very fast, if you are behind that just means you have to catch up immediately. In order to cope with that, it is crucial to make close friends and take notes.
If you were able to take electives, what was your favourite elective? If you were not able to take electives, what was your favourite course and why?
My favourite course would be eng (myth and literature). It was an elective and acted like a break for me. It felt like a bird course and I feel like it could help those who are stressed about field related projects. My tip would be to choose a course that you enjoy because interior design has a very heavy workload.
